Cameron Ritchie Associate, Structural Engineer BSc | PhD CEng | PEng | PE Toronto

Cameron joined the structural engineering team in our Edmonton before pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto. After completing his studies on the effects of blast loading on tubular steel, he joined our Toronto studio. In addition to work in protective design, Cameron has led projects across various sectors, including healthcare, institutional, government, and retail. He brings dynamism and a passion for structural engineering to all of his projects. Cameron is continually inspired by groundbreaking structures and the engineers that designed them. A keen problem solver, he is committed to working with clients to find a solution that meets their needs and has a meaningful, long-term impact on the community at large. Drawing from his background in architectural training and as an elite athlete, Cameron believes in the power of an integrated, team-first approach to finding optimal structural solutions. His technical proficiency has been recognized through numerous academic awards, including the Government of Canada’s prestigious Vanier Graduate Scholarship.
