Harry Van Boxmeer
Harry joined DIALOG in 2005 as a senior project manager, petroleum and became an associate in 2010. Prior to joining DIALOG, Harry worked for 15 years with a regional petroleum retailer. In this role he gained experienced in a wide variety of petroleum related projects, including gas bars, carwashes, convenience stores, bulk plants and distribution terminals. His principle focus and interest for the past 20 years has been the petroleum retail sector where he has developed strong working relationships with industry suppliers, and contractors.
Harry established underground equipment standards when new tough environmental regulations required secondary containment for all underground equipment. Harry is involved in the project management of projects for several DIALOG clients including Canadian Tire, Shell Canada, Safeway, Ultramar, Suncor, and British Petroleum.
Harry was project manager for several projects at Suncor’s Oil Sands plant including the Scoping Studies on the Administration buildings, the Six Bay Expansion to the MEM Heavy Truck Shop and the Top Shop Remediation.
Harry has led several major re-identification programs with over 1,200 retail outlets being upgraded to new retail identities.
Harry has been the Toronto Studio Safety Officer since 2005, leading the studio’s Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), representing the studio on DIALOG’s national JHSC, and working with the Learning and Development Team to develop DIALOG’s Safety Training Program. More recently, Harry has been leading DIALOG’s Project Closeout program, developing the performance evaluation tools to measure client and occupant satisfaction levels and working with project teams to ensure that all project performance indicators have been recorded and that all project closeout activities are documented.
