Ken Johnson has 40 years of experience as a project architect/manager and 18 years of experience with DIALOG, specializing in technically complex facilities, including decanting demolition and construction of numerous laboratories into Biomedical Laboratories, offices and support space. Construction was completed while keeping the remainder of the building in operation with minimal distribution to existing services.
With DIALOG, Ken has worked on the Calgary General Hospital – Major Capital Project, the Rimrock Hotel and Spa in Banff, the Health Research Innovative Centre for the University of Calgary, the below-grade Foothills Medical Centre Lot 10 Parkade, the LEED® Platinum Certified University of Calgary Energy, Environment, Experiential Learning (E.E.EL) project, and the University of British Columbia Centre for Comparative Medicine.
Ken is currently the project manager for the compliance team on the Royal Inland Hospital Clinical Services Building and Parkade in Kamloops, BC and is on the compliance team for the Vancouver Island Health Authority, North Island Hospitals at Comox and Campbell River, BC. He was recently the project manager for the RCMP “E” Division Headquarters P3 submission in Surrey, BC.
In addition to this work, Ken is providing technical assistance and peer review on the 60 storey Telus SKY project in Calgary and the Vancouver House High Rise Condominium at Beach and Howe.
Ken has proven to be a good team member and enjoys working on challenging projects, whether on a tight schedule, restricted budget or a technically complex facility.
