Lindsey Fryett Jerke
Lindsey joined our urban planning and landscape architecture team in 2016. She has contributed to nearly 40 city-building projects in British Columbia and beyond. Lindsey’s project experience covers a wide range of scales: from establishing long-term, city-wide visions in the form of official community plans, through to the detailed design and contract administration of public spaces. The breadth of her work allows her to simultaneously ‘think big’ while still considering feasibility and implementation.
Lindsey is a conscientious designer, facilitator, and project manager. She is known for her ability to contribute to and manage collaborative design processes with interdisciplinary teams and to bring together many voices into meaningful design solutions. She has strong insight when it comes to understanding how streetscapes and the public realm can be balanced with ecology, and alternative modes of transportation.
As a public engagement practitioner with a background in fine arts, she brings a dynamic skill set of graphic facilitation to engagement events and consultant workshops. Lindsey has completed her IAP2 Foundations in Public Participation training, and routinely designs and delivers public engagement processes to inform urban design, land-use and planning projects. No matter the scale or typology, Lindsey draws on her passions for urban planning, landscape architecture, and engagement to deliver robust plans and compelling designs for every project.
