Steve Sestic | Toronto

Steve has over 16 years of experience as a project manager and senior designer with a diverse project background. He is a strategic project leader and collaborator, and is known as a design leader with skills that extend to effective building planning and development with specific attention to project management and project execution. At DIALOG, Steve consistently champions the firm’s strong focus on integrated and sustainable design.  As an advocate of DIALOG’s commitment to connecting buildings with the fabric of their geographic context, he supports his team in elevating design standards in the public realm. Most recently, Steve has led a team of design professionals in completing the design of the Forest Stewardship & Education Centre project within the Hollidge Tract in York Region.  As a highly integrated and innovative project with numerous stakeholders, Steve has successfully maintained the project requirements and vision of York Region, including LEED Platinum and Living Building Challenge Certification.
Prior to joining DIALOG in 2008, Steve worked with various Toronto firms as a senior designer and project manager on numerous institutional, academic, and long term healthcare projects maintaining all aspects of the design process. Steve is recognized for his in-depth knowledge of integrated design issues and for his high standards in design innovation and project execution. He has an expanded knowledge base for many building typologies, with experience in academic, long term health care, community residential/housing, hospitality, commercial, and institutional projects.
