Tristan has been engaged in building simulations and energy analysis since he graduated from McGill University in 2004. He combines his understanding of the design process and his knowledge of thermodynamic principles to reduce the energy intensity of our built environment. Tristan’s awareness of building energy flows is not limited to the new design world; he is an equally accomplished energy auditor having assessed over 4 million sq ft of existing building space. Tristan has served as the lead energy analyst on a wide variety of DIALOG’s projects; including both new construction and existing buildings.
Tristan is a licensed Engineer in the Province of Ontario and has earned his certification from ASHRAE as a Building Energy Modelling Professional (BEMP). He has also qualified as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) giving him a comprehensive understanding of not just high-performance building design, but also operation.
