Celebrating Our Alumni
At DIALOG, we have a commitment to meaningfully improving the wellbeing of our communities and the environment we all share. Today, this sentiment extends far beyond our own projects and people. Our firm is filled with people who are passionate about making our communities better places. We’re so proud to see when our alumni choose to pursue new ventures and continue to champion this vision. In this case, two former colleagues are now embarking on a life in public service in Toronto.
Mayoral candidate, Jennifer Keesmaat, is a DIALOG alumna who transitioned to become the Chief Planner at the City of Toronto where she has made a remarkable impact during her tenure. As stated in her bio “Jennifer’s work is characterized by an emphasis on the creation of complete communities, the facilitation of collaborations across sectors, and broad engagement with residents, municipal staff, Council, developers, business leaders, NGOs, and other stakeholders.”
Additionally, Brad Bradford, another former DIALOGer, is running for Toronto City Council in the Beaches–East York Ward. Brad began his career as a planner in our Toronto studio from 2011-2013, and is currently part of the team at the City of Toronto’s planning office. Brad’s career has been focused on developing implementation strategies, placemaking and creating vibrant downtown destinations, supported by enhanced pedestrian environments.
We celebrate and congratulate Jennifer and Brad on their impressive achievements and wish them well in their journey ahead.
