Evoke DIALOG – TELUS Spark
The year was 1967. Canada celebrated its 100th birthday and Calgary opened the city’s first science centre under the name Calgary Centennial Planetarium.
Fast-forward to 2008: Exhibits were changing; science and technology were evolving. With a record-breaking 304,394 guests, the Science Centre was out-growing its facility. People wanted more – and they needed a new space.
Learn more about how their new facility is propelling them into the next 50 years of learning and discovery.
Enter DIALOG: Our team set out to design a building that was memorable, youthfully exuberant and dynamic. We conceived the building as an exhibit platform where the boundaries of inside and outside blur.
Known today as TELUS Spark, the facility has evolved into a place for people of all ages to let go and discover science in a way their normal day-to-day life doesn’t allow for.
This year, TELUS Spark celebrates 50 years of providing Calgarians with new ways of looking at our world and our sense of place within it.
