OALA Awards Craig Applegath with Honourary Membership

A hearty congratulations to Craig Applegath! Craig was presented with the OALA Honourary Member Award at this year’s OALA AGM and Conference. This award is given annually to non-members who help advance the cause of landscape architecture in Ontario. Craig was nominated by OALA President, Doris Chee.

The annual conference was opened with a presentation by Craig about the three critical challenges of the Twenty-First Century Imperative. Craig recognized the contributions landscape architects are making to combat climate change.

Landscape architects can be the heroes of the 21st Century. – Craig Applegath

Craig continually works to advance the field of climate change research and strongly believes that landscape architects can make meaningful change through design. Congratulations Craig. This award is well deserved!
