Party animals: A night behind the gates of the Edmonton Valley Zoo
From exotic animals to tipsy architects, Edmonton’s Zoofest 2013 promises to be a wild night out for socialites.
Hosted by the Valley Zoo Development Society the gala is set up to raise funds and give the public a glimpse of what goes on beyond the gates once the zoo closes for the night.
“With all of the changes and updates that we’ve been working on at the Edmonton Valley Zoo and Wander Path , it really is an exciting time so I except this year’s version of Zoofest to be a really good night out,” says DIALOG principal Stephen Boyd. In addition to being the lead architect for ongoing updates at the Edmonton Valley Zoo, Boyd also sits on the VZDS board.
Set for June 22, Zoofest is $75 per person and includes food, wine, a red carpet welcome, tours of the new veterinary hospital and arctic exhibits, and the opportunity to hang with an Asian elephant. Now that sounds like our kind of party!
