
Jim Montgomery
Dr. Jim Montgomery has top academic qualifications along with a down-to-earth ability to get the best out of a team. He’s been the lead structural engineer for the design and construction review of many significant building, bridge, and speciality engineering projects across Canada. Selected projects include the Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada (PSEPC) National Headquarters in Ottawa, the Francis Winspear Centre for Music in Edmonton, the Markin/CNRL Natural Resources Engineering Facility, and the Robbins Pavilion/Lois Hole Hospital for Women at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. He is currently working on the design of the Walterdale Bridge Replacement across the Edmonton’s North Saskatchewan River, a signature through arch structure with a clear span of 240 m.
