John Souleles | Calgary

John has a wide range of project experience which includes work in the post-secondary institutional realm; academic and public libraries, healthcare and recreational facilities. He has undertaken public and institutional library projects with construction values over $200 million in Alberta. John is also the  project architect for the University of Calgary MacKimmie Complex and the recently completed Mount Royal University Riddell Library + Learning Centre, a new standalone facility to accommodate student and faculty academic excellence. As project manager and design architect, John has also undertaken over ten branch modernization projects for the Calgary Public Library, including renovations to the Central Branch. He has a specific interest in innovative library service models, transformational programs, and collaborative techniques. John is also keenly interested in net zero carbon and sustainable design.
