It Takes a Village

A mixed-use development on the Fraser River builds on history to turn a former brownfield site into a vibrant public space.

Coquitlam, British Columbia

All Together Now

The plan integrates residential, commercial, recreational, light industrial, and employment opportunities to enable residents to live, work, and play within the community. These uses will allow residents to live and work in the community. Approximately 19,000 sq. m. of retail space along a central “main street” will provide basic amenities within a short walking distance for residents.

On the Waterfront

A vibrant waterfront plaza and park, enhanced by marine landscaping, provide essential public connections to the Fraser River.

That's Hot

Green building technology and infrastructure contribute to energy efficiency. A district energy system fueled by alternative biomass sources provides heat to all buildings.

Getting Around

Cycling, pedestrian activity and links to public transit are encouraged through an integrated network of pathways and other open spaces.

Water Density

This development will include 3,700 residential units comprised of 760 townhomes, 865 mid-rise units, and 2,075 tower units.
