Two centres of excellence meet in the middle to deliver hands-on apprenticeship training

Designed to accommodate equipment and technology-intensive apprenticeship programs including Millwright and Instrumentation.
- Nerve centre
A naturally lit central atrium forms the facility's spine and features a cafeteria, social spaces, and building services. The atrium is aligned with the campus’ major east-west pedestrian axis.
- Public engagement
Corridors, circulation and social spaces are also situated around the glazed building perimeter, connecting the school to public spaces outside.
- Hot corners
Well-windowed demonstration labs and shops anchor the building’s corners.
- Industrial aesthetic
Exposed building elements and discreet finishes define the interior design approach.
