Family First

A flexible and forward-focused space that contributes to the delivery of compassionate and holistic healthcare

Toronto, Ontario

Fluid and Flexible

An accessible, barrier-free clinic space where circulation for patients and practitioners is more fluid, furniture can be reconfigured to meet future needs and the staff meeting / lunch area doubles as a collaborative-teaching space for both educators and medical practitioners. This space responds to immediate needs while anticipating growing demands placed on healthcare institutions.

Tomorrow’s Technology

Spaces configured to embrace the latest high-tech tools for care delivery and teaching – paving the way for increased access and connectivity for patients and healthcare professionals within the Unit and beyond.

Trending: Energy Efficient Design

More modernized lighting designs, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. All contemporary energy and air quality measures now up to code, along with upgraded fire alarm, sprinkler and security systems.

Cross Sector Partnerships

Lower level of the Unit was developed as a joint partnership with Toronto Public Health Department of Dentistry, the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, University of Toronto, and Ryerson University.
