All Aboard!

This master plan brings new clarity to one of Canada’s foremost transportation hubs

Toronto, Ontario

Fresh Eyes

An independent review helped create a new refined master plan to increase the efficiency of passenger movement at Union Station. The design also increases convenience and improving traveller user experience.

The Junction of Preservation and Restoration

Stakeholders from all parts of the community came together to preserve the historic significance of Union Station, while allowing the station to be adapted for the needs of 21st Century commuters while taking key technical constraints into consideration.

A Revitalization Blueprint

Master plan provides guiding principles for Union Station redevelopment given that the City of Toronto was on the cusp of embracing a public-private partnership to manage, restore and operate the station.

Big and Busy

Toronto’s Union Station is the largest and busiest passenger transportation facility in Canada. Over a quarter of a million people pass through Union Station daily.
