Grant joined our team in 2009 and has a wealth of experience in building mechanical engineering and sustainable design. Grant has worked with LEED® building standards from its inception as a sustainable guideline to today’s advanced and challenging certification requirements. He has also led our team towards compliance with the AIA 2030 challenge. 

With over 25 years of experience in the mechanical engineering industry, Grant has focused his extensive consulting knowledge on large institutional and commercial projects including healthcare and laboratory projects, post-secondary facilities, and airports. His work includes the LEED® Commercial Interiors design for our new Edmonton studio, expansion and energy upgrades at the Kelowna Airport, and new healthcare facilities for the towns of Edson and Grande Prairie. His project responsibilities include conceptual design through to construction and warranty periods.

Grant is experienced in system design concepts, life-cycle costing and best practices, mentoring and guidance, quality control, and commissioning. He pushes the envelope of sustainable design, incorporating concepts from net zero, living building, net positive and new mechanical designs into his work.
