Neal is a passionate designer, urbanist, and intern architect, working at the intersection of culture, sustainability, and innovation. He is experienced in K-12 education, post-secondary, healthcare, museum, and institutional projects.

Neal is dedicated to building significant architecture that positively contributes to communities at an organizational, civic, and global scale. Neal has broad experience with multidisciplinary teams for public and private school design. His project involvement spans from concept development through to substantial completion.

Neal has been a DIALOGer since 2013 and was an integral design team member for Rundle College K-6 School in southwest Calgary. His involvement in this project included design development, the development permit process, construction documentation, and contract administration. He also had a critical design role on the Jack James High School Modernization project with the Calgary Board of Education. His work included coordinating specialty facilities within complicated existing spaces.

Neal’s international experience includes a work-term with Attika Architekten in Amsterdam. There, he focused on urban planning at a variety of scales across the Netherlands. He’s also studied in Barcelona, where he explored sensitive urban revitalization in a historically poor inner-city neighbourhood.
