While Four Seasons Toronto is a formal hotel, the design provides a comfortable ease that retains the essence of the luxury brand. Its new design has reinvigorated the lobby and d|bar, successfully striking a balance between elegant formality and relaxing comfort. Building off her original design of the lobby and bar, Principal Alison McNeil’s modernist update pays homage to Four Seasons founder Isadore Sharp. The tribute is most apparent in “Sharp’s Corner”. Tucked away in a nook beneath the lobby stairs, this space is adorned with images of Mr. Sharp’s early career.
You can’t tell the story of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto without telling the story of Mr. Sharp himself. This hotel has a heart behind it – a person who deeply believes in this city and the Four Seasons brand.
